Let the Fundraising Season Begin!

In light of the economy, the new house, and our impending wedding, we had to really think hard about committing to the ride this year. But, we decided that cancer doesn't take a year off, so neither will we.

On August 7th, Stacey will be riding in her 6th Pan-Mass Challenge...and Lew will be riding in his FIRST PMC! Together, they will ride 111 miles from Sturbridge to Bourne to raise money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. This year, we each must raise a minimum of $3,000 -- for a total of $6,000!!

This is a big challenge for us and we really hope we can count on the support of many of you. We ride in support of those battling cancer and in honor of those that have lost hard-fought battles. We ride so that no child has to lose a parent to cancer...or worse, suffer through chemo treatments before they can ride a bike. We ride so that families have additional time with loved ones. We ride so that cancer is one day only seen in history books. This is why we ride. This is why we fight.

We have created this team and page to make donations easier, but if you prefer, the links to our individual pages are below.

If you'd rather send a check, please make it out to "PMC" or "Pan-Mass Challenge". As we are moving at the end of this month, please email us for the right mailing address. Also, please check with your companies to see if they match donations -- every little bit helps.

As always, we will be riding with a list of names on my jersey...survivors that have won their battles with cancer, warriors who continue to battle cancer every day, and fallen heroes who have sadly lost their battles with cancer. If you have someone who you would like recognized, please let us know (you can put it in the message when you donate or just email us). The ride is difficult, but each of those names helps remind all of us why we ride...fighting cancer, one mile at a time.

Thank you for your continued support - it means the world to us.
